About the Instructor: Karen Dewhirst has been an avid gardener for over 30 years. She has put her green thumb to work in the city, in the country, in the ground and on rooftops, in pots, troughs, milkcrates, raised beds, and garden soil. Her gardening expertise includes pruning shrubs and espalier fruit trees, growing small fruits and vegetables, landscaping with native plants, annuals, perennials, shrubs and bulbs. Karen gardens using organic growing techniques and loves compost. Her enthusiasm for gardening is contagious!
Payment and Registration: Payment required in advance. $45 until February 18 at 11:59 PM. $50 until February 21 at 8 PM.
What You’ll need: Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty; garden gloves, if you like; way to take notes; signed liability waiver (to be emailed to you)

Cancellation Policy: We prefer at least a 36-hour notice if a participant is unable to attend. However, we do understand that this is not always possible. Participants who are unable to attend can receive credit equal to the amount of the workshop they were going to attend, to be used within 6 months.
